Hellenic Women’s Club Scholarship Program

• A female resident of Massachusetts or a female
  attending a college/university in Massachusetts
• Officially admitted to an accredited U.S. College or University
• A U.S. citizen of Greek American heritage and/or Greek Orthodox faith
   

• Applicants must have a minimum of 2.9 cumulative grade point average or above. Copies of current high school, college or university transcript must accompany applications. Academic performance will be a consideration in the selection process
• Community Service and/or leadership qualities can be demonstrated in:
  • School
  • Church
  • Town
  • Or other community/group/organization
    important in your life
• Relatives of Hellenic Women's Club Active and Associate Members and their spouses are not eligible to apply. A list of all active and associate members can be found on our website under the Members section. Relatives are defined as:
  • Sisters
  • Daughters
  • Granddaughters
  • Nieces
  • Cousins
• Proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university must be validated by providing at least one of the following with the application form:
  • letter from advisor
  • letter of matriculation
  • tuition bill
• Scholarship checks will be sent directly to the college or university
• Award is $5,000.00 to worthy recipient(s) for the 2011-2012 academic year.
• It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure personal recommendation forms arrive in a timely fashion, no later than the July 15, 2011 application deadline
   

APPLICATION

The application period is now closed. All completed applications received by the July 15th deadline are being closely reviewed by our Scholarship Committee and Executive Board.
