Founded in 1936 in Boston, the Hellenic Women’s Club, Inc., also known as Epsilon Omicron Kappa, promotes fellowship among its members and engages in numerous philanthropic endeavors. Limited to a membership of forty-five and meeting monthly, EOK is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization characterized by a close, hard-working group of uniquely dedicated women who offer their talents, energies and spirit to the mission of charity.

For more than eight decades, the Hellenic Women’s Club activities have embodied the values of selflessness and achievement for the benefit of others. Made possible through the generous and continued support of its patrons, the Club sponsors two major charitable events each year: the Mistletoe Ball in November and a benefit in the spring. These fundraisers enable the Hellenic Women’s Club to support a variety of worthy causes.

Building on the legacy of the dynamic women leaders who preceded us, The Hellenic Women’s Club, Inc., EOK remains devoted to our mission of philanthropy, scholarship, and the promotion of Hellenic ideals. We express our deep appreciation to our Sustaining Sponsors, our donors, underwriters, and guests. With their generosity, we enthusiastically continue our philanthropic efforts. Given the present times, whether we are in person or virtual, we welcome you, or as we say in Greek, “Kalos Orisate/Καλως Ορισατε!” We invite you to learn more about EOK, our history, our events, and the many opportunities for giving.
— Jane Kourtis, EOK Past President

For over four decades, The Hellenic Women's Club has enjoyed the generosity of its Sustaining Sponsors and supporters who contribute to and attend our fundraising events. This partnership has allowed the EOK to make annual gifts to a variety of medical, cultural, educational, and institutional organizations in the greater Boston area and beyond. In addition, the EOK is proud to have established The Demetra Fund for Breast Cancer Research and Patient Assistance in memory of a dear member. To commemorate the Club’s 75th Anniversary, The Hellenic Women's Club launched a Scholarship Fund in 2011 during the Diamond Jubilee, honoring its scholarship mission.

The Hellenic Women’s Club celebrates philanthropy and community at The Mistletoe Ball annual fundraiser, which was inaugurated in 1946 and is believed to be the longest consecutive event of its kind in Boston. Every other year, the EOK hosts a spring fashion event to raise funds for The Demetra Fund. These fundraisers and the Sustaining Sponsor Program have enabled the EOK to award nearly $2 million to worthy organizations in the past sixteen years alone.

We invite you to become involved and support our fundraising!
