Our Efforts

Thanks to our Sustaining Sponsors, the EOK has raised over $2 million for local charities as well as our own Demetra Fund for Breast Cancer Research and Patient Assistance and the EOK Scholarship Fund...

Our Heritage

The Hellenic Women’s Club, Inc. was established in Boston in 1936 by seven Greek women following World War II, with efforts to assist the thousands of Greek children left homeless...

Our Mission

Engaging in wide reaching philanthropic endeavors, the EOK is dedicated to the mission of charity.

WHAT WE DO AS THE HELLENIC WOMEN’S CLUB

The Demetra Fund

The EOK's Demetra Fund for Breast Cancer Research and Patient Assistance was established to honor our dear member, Demetra Samellas, who lost her life to a battle against breast cancer. Funds raised support breast cancer research and patient assistance.

EOK Scholarships

Each year, The Hellenic Women's Club awards $5,000 to deserving young women of Greek descent at The Mistletoe Ball in November. Recipients are awarded based on their academic merit, community service and leadership efforts.

Charity Giving

Through the generosity of our loyal Sustaining Sponsors and donors and guests at our fundraising events, The Hellenic Women’s Club is able to make annual gifts to a variety of medical, cultural, and educational organizations in Greater Boston and beyond.

The 75th Anniversary Mistletoe Ball, held on November 26, 2022, celebrated the fellowship and dedication of the Greek community coming together to support the EOK with its philanthropic endeavors. If you wish to contribute to the efforts of EOK, 100% of your donation is tax deductible.

Our sincere thanks to the 2022 Sustaining Sponsors who support The Hellenic Women’s Club’s 84-year mission of philanthropy.
